One of the initial questions we routinely
ask our participants is, "what most influenced your decision
to participate?" The following are some of the responses we have
received:
- “I thought there was nothing to
loose and everything to gain… and I like new experiences.”
- “The fact that I no longer recognize
this stressed person in the mirror.”
- “A desire to heal.”
- “Feeling like all my questions
were answered and knowing I am in good hands.”
- “Sound answers to my questions
and a chance toward better health.”
- “Genuine concern from staff.”
- “Opportunity to [obtain] free
medication to see if it would help and improve my life.”
- “Hoping to find anything that
will help me and others to stop smoking.”
- “Congenial and kind receptionist
and nurse.”
- “1) People like Judy and Christine;
2) Years of problems due to disorder; 3) Very positive experience
one other time, wonderful people and possibility for improvement.”
- “A professional recommendation
of your organization and Dr. Heiser, the bio qualifications
on your website.”
- “Lack of success with other medications.”
Once people complete
their participation in one of PRI’s programs, we routinely
send out postcards asking for their comments. The following
are some of the responses we have received.
- “Awesome experience and I haven’t
smoked for two years. My-Linh is excellent.”
- “Dr. Heiser was always available
for me to see. Patti was encouraging and supportive as well
as flexible for me to work with. I thank PRI as the study has
changed and given me new life!! I am [now] a NON-SMOKER.”
- “What a great experience. After
27 years I stopped smoking, thanks to the support of the great
staff.”
- Amy was my nurse. She was always there
for me. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone I refer. Please
let her know what a great job she’s doing.”
- “Excellent Treatment.”
- “Were it not for PRI, it’s
possible I might not be alive today.”
- “My-Linh is outstanding!! It was
a pleasure to be her patient in this study. She is a very brilliant
young medical professional.”
- “I have felt welcomed, appreciated
and was treated with genuine concern for not only the study
but as an individual by both Patti (nurse) and Jill (receptionist).
THANK YOU!!!”
- “Keep up your great, much-needed
work!”
- “I am very pleased with the professionalism
of all the personnel at the office. I believe that their efforts
greatly improved my short and long-term memory. I am grateful
for my opportunity to participate in the study!”
- “Your staff is very kind, compassionate
and were wonderful to us—especially Arnelle and My-Linh.”
- “What a great group! Thank you!”
- “Outstanding care from Patti.”
- “My-Linh and Arnelle made each
visit a pleasure with their patience and understanding.”
- “Provided service more than I
could have imagined; outstanding. A trillion thanks!”
- “This study saved my life! Thank
you!”
- “Mellissa was very professional.
She made my visits a pleasure.”
- “I could not have asked for a
more helpful and understanding individual than the nurse assigned
to work with me!”
- “Mellissa is absolutely “on
top” of what she does. Without the kind of person and
professional that she is, I would not have been successful!
She made the difference.”
